COLOR CHAMPION!!
Stormcat is VERY black (3 of his 4 grandparents are black!)--it's late summer, and his fleece is Blue-Black--it actually looks like black velvet! He has a long long staple, a very bright fleece with pleasing medium crimp and organized structure. Very big bone on a correct, compact frame, with a level topline and fleece all the way THRU his toes. He has a teddy bear head that is so appealing on huacayas, with a good bite, and a pleasing personality that is worth breeding ... |

Barney's Babe is a dark brown female with lovely conformation and fine, crimped fleece for her dark color. Her first cria was a true black female who tragically died from an injury at a few days of age. Her second cria, Chukulati, (by our Stormcat), is a goregeous dark brown girl who did fabulously well in the show ring, with 3 championships. Congratulations to Jamie Clark Richard of Paca Paradise, who purchased Chukulati! We think BB has found her soul-mate in our true black champion her... |

Wow! This is one of the best huacayas we have ever produced! His fleece is BRIGHT with beautiful popcorn bundles and high frequency crimp.
Mas Snowmas is the culmination of a series of breedings we have carefully planned over the years, with each one reaching a higher plateau of perfection. This male is now the pinnacle of all that planning and waiting. A line breed on Matrix (dam is a Matrix granddaughter, sire is a Matrix son) AND a line breed on the incredible Snowmass Quechua--sire... |

This bay black girl really turned heads at her first show this fall--including the head of the judge, who awarded her a Blue Ribbon and the Black Color Championship her first time in the ring! Iquique (ee-KEY-kay) follows in the footsteps of her dark brown full sister, Chukulati, who took several championships and blue ribbons and is now happily pregnant (by Eclipse Alyst) on a ranch in Oregon.
Iquique has a perfect, squared conformation that she gets from her illustrious black sire, Dundee's AJ Stormcat--also known for his retention of fineness and perfect teddy-bear head, She has bright, BRIGHT black fleece with a lovely soft handle and nicely defined bundling. And who can resist that "Got Milk?" face?
Iquique now has a CC and RC in halter, and is the proud mother of 3 offspring, each gorgeous with sweet personalities. Her daughter, Tarapaca, followed in her dam's footprints with a CC in halter her first time in the ring.
Iquique is now spitting off to our outstanding fawn male, MRN Mas Snowmas (lots of Matrix and Snowmass Quechua going on in there!) for a cria in mid July, 2025. Pregnancy not yet confirmed by Progesterone or ultrasound.
