We are thrilled beyond belief to have a top quality Renaissance Ridge grey herdsire in our lineup! It was a great opportunity for us, and we jumped at it! Coqueta has turned out to be a lovely young lady. She's quite close to her dam, a very black female out of the acclaimed Studmaster program of NorthWest Alpacas. We bred Cocopuff to our very black Champion, Dundee's AJ Stormcat and he put his signature perfect conformation and head on her sturdy frame. Add to that a very soft handling bright blue-black fleece with moderate crimp, fineness, and density, and uniformity of micron.
Coqueta just took 1st of 7 in a competitive class of 7 at AlpacaFest West. The judge stated that she has the finest fleece in the class, moderate density, good uniformity of micron and crimp. excellent conformation, and is well-grown for her age.
Coqueta had her first cria, a beautiful dark brown female, in early November. She is a great mother, and the little girl is growing rapidly. Coqueta does not sell with the cria, who will wean in the spring.
Coqueta sells with a breeding that you can use on her or any of your females. Of our males, I'd suggest Accoyo America Hawkeye, or perhaps Manchu's Sun Tzu for Coqueta. Or, you can try for grey with our grey junior herdsire, Iron Sun--a grandson of Aussie .38 Special!
