MRN Mas Topaz

Wow! This is one of the best huacayas we have ever produced! His fleece is BRIGHT with beautiful popcorn bundles and high frequency crimp. Mas Snowmas is the culmination of a series of breedings we have carefully planned over the years, with each one reaching a higher plateau of perfection. This male is now the pinnacle of all that planning and waiting. A line breed on Matrix (dam is a Matrix granddaughter, sire is a Matrix son) AND a line breed on the incredible Snowmass Quechua--sire of Matrix, Snowmass Best Man, and so many other illustrious offspring. Frankly, in terms of quality, Quechua may have bested his famous son, Matrix! So our little guy was sired by a Quechua grandson but his dam is a Best Man daughter, making Mas Snowmas a Quechua great grandson twice over on his dam's side, as well! And what makes up the rest? How about Caligula's Accoyo Poseidon and a little PPeruvian Camillio for good measure? What a fantastic mix of genetic potential! He's back from the shows, and the judges were impressed by his incredible long staple length and bright fleece. In 2021 he sheared more than 12 lbs--that's more than 11% of his body weight!
