SoCal Vito Corleone by Coppola

We really are "gobsmacked" by this boy, purchased from Bev and Jason Brehm of Rogue Suri Alpacas! AND...Rogue Suris likes this guy so much, they bought back a half interest in Coppola! So, he is in Medford with the Brehms until early summer, then back down to cooler coastal California for awhile. Coppola has had a terrific show career, earning 4 championships (both halter and Walking Fleece) at level 4 or higher shows, plus his first RC at the Alpaca Breeders' Invitational, and beating out his "old man" (Nico) for Color Champion at the 2017 California Classic! Now that he is shorn, I can really get my hands on his fleece---he has incredibly buttery ropey pitch-black locks that are distinctly well-defined and lustrous. It's almost unnatural--I've never seen anything like it. And who ever heard of a True Black male in the TOP 5% EPD for AFD!! His dam, WAP Showtime, is a multi Champion (including Futurity), sired by WAP Bet on Black. She is one of Rogue Suri's best producers. And, of course, Coppola's sire is the fantastic GLR NICO!!-- a multi Champion in his own right! Earning a whopping 12 Championships in halter, fleece and well into his 4th year fleece! (actually, he has earned even more championships since this was written, but who's counting?) One of the things I most like about him, is that his crias for us have all had sweet, friendly, curious personalities. That's a plus in my book!
