We are so very thrilled with the arrival of our FIFTH GENERATION SILVER GREY GIRL---SoCal's Silver Sonia!!
Now THIS is what EYE CANDY is all about!! Sonia has dark silver blue-grey, well-locked fleece. The tips of her locks have the most attractive creme highlights, and her face is a knock-out with her Dam's dark eyeliner. Sonia has a lovely, strong conformation, and she draws attention wherever she goes. Her bloodlines can't be beat--her sire is the illustrious 2-time AOBA champion/Futurity Blue ribbon- winning/MAPACA Champion/MacGyver son....Sirius Black!! And her dam is our Light Silver Grey gal, GLR Chaska, who has a matching MAPACA Color Championship of her very own, and she is the daughter of the legendary Platinum Marquis! Now, we know that our alpacas are livestock and not "pets", but it doesn't hurt that Sonia has a winning, curious, and charming personality to go along with those "super model looks"! She passes on her confident, curious personality to her offspring, and they are delightful!

All-in-all, our Silver Sonia presents a comprehensive package of looks, bloodlines, and eye-catching fleece. Sonia has moved to our North San Francisco Bay farm, Alpacas of Marin. Sonia has been an excellent mother to her two crias, each of whom share her curious, confident, outgoing personality.

Sonia sells with a breeding to any of our herdsires--may we suggest Dark Brown AOBA Champion, Saber's Red Storm Rising? (he has thrown black from a fawn female). Or True Black MAPACA champ, AAOA Marauder, or our Dark Brown IAO Champ Captain Blackfoot?

Sadly, Sonia passed away on april 17, 2016 from an intestinal obstruction. We will miss her--she had a unique personality and she was a friend.
